My review:

My car was taken to Evans Halshaw at Burnley last friday for repairs and an MOT. It was booked in under my Partner\\\\\\\'s name as this garage service and repair our other Ford car. We were told it would be ready for collection by 3pm yesterday.
.
1. Despite having this vehicle for almost a week, no attempt has been made to commence the repairs.
2. No parts have been ordered
3. No explanation or apology has been given why the car could not be completed by the agreed time.
4. I was assured last night the car was \\\\\\\'nearly ready\\\\\\\' but it could \\\\\\\'go into tomorrow\\\\\\\'.
5. We rang this morning to arrange collection and was informed the repair work had not even been started.

We are bitterly disappointed with the standard of customer service and will not be taking either vehicle there again. Scandalous. If this is the standard of service from the \\\\\\\'Official\\\\\\\' Ford dealer in Burnley then you can keep it. A truly shocking experience given they have had the car for 6 days for a job that takes 3 hours and an MOT.

What a careless, shoddy, slap dash way to treat your customers.

The worst car buying experience of my life! I was met by a worn out looking scottish fellow by the name of Jamie who was quite frankly depressing to deal with. He opened up a Fiesta we had seen on the internet and then disappeared. After 10 minutes he returned from watching the showroom TV and asked us what we thought of it....no offer of a test drive or information on the car. Upon siiting at a desk inside he then went through a number of products that he himself admitted to not believing were value for money but he advised us he had to present to us as part of his job. We couldn\\\'t agree on what my Focus was worth as part exchange so he brought out a clown by the name of John Pilkington who went on to tell us that we were fools if we did not take up their offer! Eventually we agreed on a price and agreed I could collect the Fiesta the following Thurday. The car was dirty, hadn\\\'t been valetted as promised. There was two months Tax on the car not 6 months as agreed and purchased. I asked for a refund of my 100 deposit and was told by Mr Pilkington that it was non refundable. On pursueing the matter further with his boss whos name escapes me but was a former salesman at Walker Farrimond (large guy with a bullish attitude) he told me there was no way I would be getting my money back. However within 5 days a cheque was issued to me only after I had telephoned the head office in Nottingham!

Do not buy from these cowboys...not a professional amongst them...conmen who just want your money and haven\\\'t a clue what real customer service means.

Many thanks for an excellent service!
Though Ford are struggling to deliver some models (Mondeo titanium X sport) and we waited quite some time for our new car, the sales staff in the showroom where brilliant, helpful and always professional.
After sales are superb as well, a small metallic noise developed under the car, it could be heard when closing the rear doors. When I phoned them about it, immediate arrangements where made to check it out at my convenience and cured the problem in 5 minutes. What a difference from the %9

I was really impressed at the old Skippers Ford garage. Nothing seemed too much trouble to them & they helped me to get a new car really quickly after mine was written off.

The salesman helped me to get a better car than my last one & i ended up paying out less than last time!

I\'d recommend them to anyone i know & will use them again.

My review:

I have had nothing but problems since buying my car from the ford dealership at Burnely the after sales care is absolutley zero. I have had a problem with my car since I purchased it back in April I have had to do most of the running around, no one ever returns calls or calls when they say they will. I am utterly disappointed. Currently I am seeking advise from trading standards. If you want my advise I would go to another dealer.
